Scope and Contents The A. A. Bruner Journal consists of one file folder that contains a photocopy of Bruner’s 1852-1859 journal of his planned travel from Greene County, Tennessee, to the California goldfields. The journal documents Bruner’s travels through North and South Carolina, where he caught a ship at Charleston and sailed to Cuba.
