Scope and Contents The collection consists of 7000 black and white 4" x 5" negatives taken by James Ellis while he was chief photographer for the Johnson City Press-Chronicle. These negatives date from only two years of his service as Press-Chronicle photographer, 1958-60. A few of the negatives were identified as having been taken by a photographer named Huffine.
