Public information on Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. and the Swedish waste processor Studsvik, Inc. gathered by Erwin Citizens Awareness Network (ECAN) as part of the group's watchdog activities. While the primary focus of the documents is the uranium downblending facility in Erwin, Tennessee, the collection also includes materials on similar facilities elsewhere.
Emmett Essin Papers
The Emmett Essin Papers consist of drafts of his Shavetails and Bell Sharps: The History of the U.S. Army Mule, published in 1997 by the University of Nebraska Press. Included in the collection are an uncorrected typescript draft of the manuscript, a corrected typescript draft, a photocopy of the typescript draft (with editor's corrections), and galley proofs.

Tom Ewing Collection of Bill Monroe and the Blue Grass Boys Recordings
This collection consists of audio and video recordings made during Tom Ewing's ten years as one of Bill Monroe's Blue Grass Boys. Most of the cassettes were recorded from radio shows with some audience recordings of live shows in Ohio. The compact discs were recorded by fans at live appearances and from the radio. The video consists of segments broadcast by The Nashville Network (TNN).

First Federal Savings and Loan Association Records
The First Federal Savings and Loan Association Records document the business activities of this Johnson City bank, primarily for the period between the mid-1930s and the 1970s. The collection includes administrative records, audit reports, bank examiner questionnaires, financial reports, monthly business reports, income paid to customers and employees, tax reports, newspaper clippings, and historical information about the bank.
First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City Photographs
Five of the photographs depict scenes in and around the church's Micaville, North Carolina mission. The other two depict church members.

Fitzgerald Family Papers
The bulk of the collection is composed of poems of Christian and personal themes. Also included are a cash book covering the years 1897 to 1930, correspondence from 1922, and a 1925 map of Johnson City. It is not entirely clear if all the poems were composed by the same person.

Charles Foster Diary Photographs
The Charles Foster Diary Photographs consists of twenty 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" black and white copy prints of illustrations drawn by Foster in the diary he kept from 1835 to 1853. Many of these illustrations are not identified, but among those identified are drawings associated with the 1840 presidential campaign of William Henry Harrison; the "Ohio Belle" steamboat; and a view of New York Bay from Yonkers, New York.
