Sidewalks and Porch Swings Oral History Project
The Sidewalks and Porch Swings Oral History Project consists of eight audiocassette recordings of oral history interviews with residents, tape logs summarizing the interviews, data sheets on individuals interviewed, release forms, newspaper clippings, a photograph, and a newsletter of the Southside Neighborhood Organization which document the history of the "Tree Streets" neighborhood and residents in Johnson City, Tennessee.

The Jack Snider Papers consist of business and personal correspondence; church bulletins from churches at which he was the guest pastor; greeting cards; newspaper clippings; certificates; photographs; and a small collection of railroad memorabilia consisting primarily of time tables and regulatory/instructional manuals. The business correspondence is primarily from his years at King College in Bristol, Tennessee.
Department of Sociology and Anthropology Records
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology Records documents the administrative functioning of the department between the mid-1960s and the 1980s and provides insight into such departmental issues as budgeting, teaching loads, curriculum development, and faculty activities. The collection consists principally of office files maintained by the department chair, including correspondence, memoranda, reports, course information, and financial records.
Soil Conservation Service Photographs
The prints are arranged in one series in the original order established by the Soil Conservation Service. Each box contains folders with prints from southeastern United States counties. When known, the date on which the photographs were taken is given after the county and state name. The prints are stored in the Archives' special environment room.
