Anne W. Armstrong Typescript: Of Time and Knoxville
The Anne W. Armstrong Collection contains a copy of a typescript of an unpublished manuscript entitled "Of Time and Knoxville, Fragment of an Autobiography" written by Armstrong. The manuscript was written sometime between 1947 and 1958 recounts Armstrong's view of growing up in Knoxville in 1880s and 1890s. The dates of the account are 1885 through 1902.

Elise Draper Barrette Papers
The Elise Draper Barrette Papers document Barrette's work as a librarian and as director of the library science program at East Tennessee State College (later East Tennessee State University). Material includes correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, speeches, writings, and school-related papers. Major subjects encompassed by the papers include Barrette's academic work at ETSU, library science institutes for training school librarians, and her work as a library consultant.

Elma Lillian Rankin Beeson Papers
The Elma Lillian Rankin Beeson Papers contain newspaper clippings, class record books, and photographs pertaining to her teaching career at East Tennessee State Normal School. Also included are extensive photographs, postcards and a diary of her 1913 trip to Europe. The papers also contain part of the Rankin family history and several certificates and awards resulting from Beeson's activities involving Tusculum College and various ladies civic clubs.

Robert Bell Collection
The Bell Collection consists primarily of copies of images relating to life in East Tennessee. There are images of the Kitzmiller house which was in Gray, Tennessee until the 1960s; various church gatherings; structures; and businesses. There is also a small handwritten booklet containing several home remedies and photocopies of the family history pages in a Miller family Bible.
Carol Berry Collection
The collection consists of 50 black and white photographs of Paul Hadley Berry taken during World War II, c. 1945. The photographs were believed to have been taken primarily while stationed in Okinawa. Included are scenes in Hawaii, Okinawa, and unidentified locations.
Joe Bethancourt Collection
The Joe Bethancourt Collection documents the musical career of Joe Bethancourt, "The Carolina Banjo Picker." The collection consists of a 3.5-inch computer diskette containing promotional information, three publicity photographs, and three audiocassettes published by White Tree Productions, Phoenix, Arizona: Naked Banjos, 1994; Who Fears the Devil?, 1994; and Old Red Cat, 1995.
Andrew Biddle Letters
The collection consists of three letters written by Andrew Biddle of Johnson City, Tennessee to his brother-in-law Harry Oellig in Pennsylvania. Biddle was a miller and topics covered include family, the price of grain, the state of the milling business, the 1896 presidential election, hunting in East Tennessee, and various financial matters.

Blountville Circuit Quarterly (Holston) Conference Minute Books
The collection consists of photocopies of minutes of Blountville Circuit Stewards' Quarterly Conference (November 13, 1841-December 4, 1859 and September 30, 1873-August 2, 1886) and includes financial statements, ministerial examinations and licensing, reports on Sunday School election of trustees, reports on the state of the church for Blountville Circuit, and committee reports on various subjects.
