John Biggs "Pat" Alderman Papers

The collection is divided into three series: Series 1, Organization Records, 1954-1991; Series 2, Scrapbooks and Memorabilia, 1963-1985; and Series 3, Miscellaneous Publications, 1979-1991.
Evelyn Gaunt McDonald Collection
The collection is arranged in two series: Series 1, Photographic Prints 1892-1922 (divided into two subseries: Subseries 1.1, Gaunt and McDonald Family Members, 1892-1922; and Subseries 1.2, Other Prints, 1900-18), and Series 2, Johnson City Garden Club Yearbooks, 1947-78.
Kenny Fannon Photograph Collection
The Kenny Fannon Photograph Collection consists of copy prints of photographs of the trains and scenery along the Interstate Railroad and Southern Railway in Southwest Virginia as well as images of people, especially school groups. Thirty of the images were originally photographed with a panoramic camera. According to Fannon, the panoramas were made by a photographer surnamed Jenkins who was active circa 1920 to 1940. The other images appear to be from various sources.
Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy (SAHC) Records
The Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy Collection contains information on the conservancy's formation and reports and papers concerning Big Yellow Mountain and Roan Mountain.
