Public information on Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. and the Swedish waste processor Studsvik, Inc. gathered by Erwin Citizens Awareness Network (ECAN) as part of the group's watchdog activities. While the primary focus of the documents is the uranium downblending facility in Erwin, Tennessee, the collection also includes materials on similar facilities elsewhere.
The collection is arranged in series according to the subject matters pursued by Dr. Hoffman.
The collection contains photographs, scrapbooks, postcards, news clippings, family histories, and memorabilia collected by Margaret Anne Byrd Huffman and her mother Allie Dora Ruble Byrd. The materials document various events in the Byrd, Ruble and Huffman families of Johnson City, Tennessee and Limestone, Tennessee.
The collection consists of two photographs; the Sherfey Family genealogy, 1751-1963; a letter with information about Magdalena Sherfey; a photocopy of pages from a copybook; a photocopy of Magdalena Sherfey's "Record of Midwifery's Labor"; and a newspaper article about the Sherfey family in East Tennessee during the Civil War.
The collection consists of Ray Stahl's research materials regarding Johnson City history, events, and historic figures. Documentation includes collected articles, research notes, correspondence, speeches, writings, newsclippings, and photographs.
