This collection consists of 16 Primitive Baptist publications from Kentucky, North Carolina and elsewhere consisting of single issues of subscription pamphlets consisting of church news, devotions and obituaries as well as tracts and the published minutes of an annual meeting.

Custodial History

The publications were given to Day's mother Ella Mae Day by her neighbor Lou Yaden. Both families were members of Mt. Salem Primitive Baptist Church near Brock, Kentucky.

Method of Acquisition

The publications were donated by Dr. Ronnie M. Day on September 16, 1991 and March 9, 1992, accession numbers 1991-042 and 1991-104. They were originally included with the Ronnie Day Papers, but were assigned their own collection number in 2014.
