Robert (Jack) Higgs Collection (unprocessed)

The collection consists of: audio recordings of the lecture given by Jack Higgs and others entitled "The Carolina Special: Railroads through the Carolinas and Beyond"; list of historical dates associated with Carolina railroads; a videotape documenting the railroad experiences of Sam Lloyd; photographs of Blanch Martin and George Holley; book and photocopies of railroad papers, passes and schedules documenting the history of North Carolina railways between 1898 and 1993; writings of Monroe Thomas; research of Elizabeth Hunter, and copies of Tri-County News, 1941-1947.
