Scope and Contents
The Jack Snider Papers consist of business and personal correspondence; church bulletins from churches at which he was the guest pastor; greeting cards; newspaper clippings; certificates; photographs; and a small collection of railroad memorabilia consisting primarily of time tables and regulatory/instructional manuals. The business correspondence is primarily from his years at King College in Bristol, Tennessee.

The collection is divided into three series: Business, Personal and Railroad Memorabilia.
Method of Acquisition
Jack Snider donated his papers in 1995 and 1996, accession numbers 1995-082, 1995-091, 1996-005. The railroad memorabilia was donated to the Reece Museum in 1995 and later transferred to the Archives, accession number 2014-016.
Student assistants David McGuinn and Amos Gardner processed these papers. The project was completed in April 2014.
