Scope and Contents
The Jones and Wagner Family Papers include correspondence to and from Mary Ann Snider Jones, Lafayette Jones, and Alice Jones Wagner. Joseph M. Wagner, Alice Jones Wagner's son, is a frequent correspondent with his mother. Also included in the collection are military records of Lafayette Jones and assorted financial records from both the Jones and Wagner families.

The Jones and Wagner Family Papers were donated to the Archives of Appalachia by Shirley Wagner Gentry in 1986.
