Inez Martin Correspondence
Scope and Contents
The correspondence consists entirely of letters addressed to Inez Martin. The primary correspondent is Walter of Eden's Ridge, Tennessee. The tone of most of the letters is of friendship, though some later letters indicate a romantic relationship. The final letter discusses marriage. Topics include social events, sickness and death, visiting, a fair in Johnson City, and school. There are references to Professor and Mrs. Ketron; Joseph Ketron was the principal of Kingsley Seminary in Bloomingdale, Tennessee until his death in 1901.
