The Harrison and Walker Family Land Documents contain trust deeds, warranty deeds, rental contracts, land surveys, a receipt, and water easement deeds documenting the purchase and sale of land between the Harrison and Walker families between 1876 and 1967.

Custodial History
The Harrison and Walker Family Papers were found in a dresser of a house that was purchased by the Wesley-Storey family. The papers were brought to Twin Hills Auction, Johnson City, Tennessee and purchased by Tara M. Glisson-Garant on January 24, 1992.
Method of Acquisition
The papers were donated to the Archives of Appalachia by Tara M. Glisson-Garant on January 31, 1992, accession 1991-091.
Processing Information
A.Blankenship, Heather Edmundson, J.Stinson and Scott Schwartz completed processing, and the papers were opened to researchers on November 24, 1992.
