Immediate Source of Acquisition
The records of East Tennessee State University's Institutional Review Board were transferred to the University Archives by Dr. Armand Lefemine, chairman of the Institutional Review Board, in June 1984. The addition to the Institutional Review Board Records was transferred to the University Archives by Dr. Fred Borchuck, East Tennessee State University dean of libraries, from the dean's office on December 15, 1987.
Processing Information
Ned Irwin, Vinita Whittaker, and J. Grooms completed processing the collection in 1986. It was revised in 1997.
