Scope and Contents
The Women’s Studies Steering Committee records document the activities of this academic committee in developing a curriculum and managing the women’s studies minor at ETSU. Course development, enrollment, and other curriculum issues are examined in the collection. Materials include correspondence, reports, studies, surveys, memoranda, and related office files for the period chiefly between 1991-1997.

Method of Acquisition
The Women’s Studies Steering Committee Records were donated to University Archives by Dr. Bettie Cole, Department of Social Work, ETSU, on September 14, 1999.
Ned Irwin and Jamee Roberts completed processing and the collection was opened for research in July 2001.
