The Johnson City Public Library originally received the material from his wife, Mrs. Joan Lancaster, Johnson City, Tenn., in early 2003.
Method of Acquisition
The Leland Lancaster Collection was donated to the Archives of Appalachia by the Johnson City Public Library on December 10, 2003.
Jessica Ball completed processing the collection in March 2008.
