Scope and Contents

The bulk of the collection is composed of poems of Christian and personal themes. Also included are a cash book covering the years 1897 to 1930, correspondence from 1922, and a 1925 map of Johnson City. It is not entirely clear if all the poems were composed by the same person.

The Fitzgerald Family Papers were donated to the Archives of Appalachia by Richard Ellis, executor of the Clarence Worley Fitzgerald estate, on January 26, 1984, accession number 1984-043.
