The Gordon Ebersole Personal Papers documents Ebersole’s interest in international, national, and Appalachian news events, issues, and personalities primarily covering the period of the 1970s and 1980s. Among the issues documented are the Equal Rights Amendment, the Watergate political crisis, national and regional politics, international affairs, aging, natural resources, sports, and obituaries of famous people. The collection includes notebooks of newspaper clippings, post cards, correspondence, and miscellaneous articles and published material.
