Scope and Contents
The Hugh Bowers Photographs collection consist of 22 black and white and 13 color photographic prints taken by Bowers of East Tennessee landscapes and scenes. Most of the images are undated with those having dates being taken in the 1970s and 1980s.

Method of Acquisition
The Hugh Bowers Photographs were donated to the Archives of Appalachia by his sister, Lavinia Bowers, Johnson City, Tenn., on April 9, 1999.
