Custodial History
Diane C. Black of Jonesborough, Tennessee found the papers in a house she purchased and donated the papers to the Reece Museum.
Method of Acquisition
On July 25, 1985 the papers were transferred from the B. Carroll Reece Museum to the Archives of Appalachia. Accession number 1986-017.
Processing Information
J.Shelton and Tim Cook completed processing and the papers were opened for research in January 1987.
