The collection reflects aspects of William Sullivan's life, family history, and business 1864-1911. Sullivan's letter from a camp near Fredricksburg, Virginia in 1864 describes his attitude towards the Civil War in that year. His 1911 ledger lists accounts for the Mitchell Powers Company and reflects church and business construction for the year 1911.
