Scope and Contents
The Quentin M. Alexander Collection consists of photocopies of lineage charts, family group records, census extracts, research notes, and pages from published genealogical reference works. The collection documents several generations of the Shipley, Simerly (Zimmerle), and Alexander families in Maryland, Virginia, and Tennessee during the eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth centuries.
