Scope and Contents The Bell Collection consists primarily of copies of images relating to life in East Tennessee. There are images of the Kitzmiller house which was in Gray, Tennessee until the 1960s; various church gatherings; structures; and businesses. There is also a small handwritten booklet containing several home remedies and photocopies of the family history pages in a Miller family Bible.

According to the title page, Dobson wrote the biography between 1910 and 1914, and his son, Roy Calvin, edited the document in 1915. The negatives and contact prints focus on the August 13, 1940 flood on the Linville River Railroad (LRR), a narrow gauge railroad which ran from Pineola, North Carolina to Cranberry, North Carolina. Scope and Contents This collection documents the work of Charles Randy Brown, photographer, film maker, and animator. Much of Brown's career was spent at WCYB-TV, where he devised a technique for processing color film using equipment designed for black-and-white stock.
