The Ed Wolfe Papers consist of audiocassettes, transcripts and photographs generated by Mr. Wolfe while he was researching his books on the Interstate Railroad. The content of the audiocassettes is primarily conversations with Mr. Wolfe's father, Hugh Wolfe, 1915-2009, who was a railroad employee from 1937-1978. There are other interviews with Hugh's former co-workers Les Blevins, Jack Long, M.D. Watts, and Ben Williams, as well as with Hugh's brother York Wolfe and Ed's aunt Mary Wolfe.

Scope and Contents The Edward D. Cross Collection consists of 85 scrapbooks compiled by the donor. The scrapbooks contain clippings from newspapers and popular magazines, photographs, stamps, correspondence, currency, obituaries, postcards, brochures, tickets, membership cards, licenses, formal announcements, and other printed ephemera. Scope and Contents The collection consists of 7000 black and white 4" x 5" negatives taken by James Ellis while he was chief photographer for the Johnson City Press-Chronicle.
