Grover C. Cox Letters
The Grover Cox Letters are a collection of letters written to Grover Cox of Kingsport, Tennessee, primarily while he was stationed at Camp Blanding, Florida during World War II. The collection contains over two hundred handwritten letters written by his mother, Georgia Cox; his brother, Glenn Cox; other family members; and friends from home and the military. Topics include his family’s health and worklife along with news about friends and neighbors in Kingsport.

Benjamin J. Cramer Collection
The Benjamin J. Cramer Collection contains research done by Cramer on the Carolina, Clinchfield and Ohio Railway (CC&O) and its operations around the communities of Lost Cove, North Carolina, and Bumpass Cove, Tennessee. The research includes an interview with Jack Hawkins, who worked for CC&O for forty years, photographic prints of Lost Cove, North Carolina, and one VHS videotape about the Bumpass Cove landfill.
Samuel N. Cramer, Jr. Papers
The Samuel N. Cramer, Jr. Papers consist of correspondence, account ledgers, research notes and note cards, sermons, and newsclippings documenting Cramer's ministerial work in Appalachia.
Pollyanna Creekmore Collection
The Pollyanna Creekmore Collection consists of eighteen photographs taken by Hugh Lunsford, a photographer for the Knoxville (Tennessee) Journal, during a tour with Pollyanna Creekmore in the early 1970s. The photographs depict historic sites and historical markers in Carter County and Sullivan County, Tennessee.

Daniel Calloway Biographical Material
The Daniel Calloway Collection consists of historical research conducted by Betty J. Cox about her grandfather, Daniel Calloway, the first marshal of Erwin, Tennessee. The collection includes a biographical sketch of Calloway prepared by Cox for a talk at a meeting at the Unicoi County Historical Association, as well as photocopies of supporting documents and copy prints of family photographs.

The Daniel Thomas McCoy, Sr. Collection consists of photocopies of obituaries, a family history, and a letter, as well as print and negative copies of five photographs. All pertain to the McCoy family.

Daughters of the American Revolution-John Sevier Collection
The collection is divided into four series: Series 1, Organizational Records, 1908-1972 and undated; Series 2, Activities’ Records, 1918-1979 and undated; Series 3, Publications, 1932-1987 and undated; and Series 4, Miscellaneous Reports, Pamphlets, and Certificates, 1924-86 and undated.
Daughters of the American Revolution-Sarah Hawkins Chapter Records
The collection is arranged into two series as follows: Series 1, Administrative Files, 1944-1964, and Series 2, Scrapbooks, 1943-1998.
Material in each series is arranged in chronological order. An oversized newspaper found loose in the scrapbook collection has been removed and housed in a map folder and filed in the map cabinet by accession number.
David and Henry Ferguson Mathematics Copy Books
This collection consists of two mathematics copy books, one belonging to Henry Ferguson and one belonging to David Ferguson. They contain numerous mathematical word, fraction, square root, and multiplication problems that were copied between 1826 and 1830. The Fergusons are believed to have been residents of Washington County, Tennessee.

David Morris Collection
The collection is divided into two series: Series 1, Vietnam War Protest, 1952-1969; and Series 2, Domestic Protest, 1959-1969. The first series covers protests against the military draft and the Vietnam War. Series 2 consists of documents related to other protest movements.
David West Videos
A collection of television programs that include performances by bluegrass musician David West. Programs include “Saturday Night Jamboree at David’s Barn,” “The Cas Walker Farm and Home Hour,” “Cas Walker’s Living Sunshine,” and the Dukes of Hazzard special “Dukes Day in Knoxville.” Programs were produced by WBIR-TV in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Deery Inn Tape
Richard Lawson created the Deery Inn slide-tape program as a research requirement for English 4650, folklore, in 1970. The collection consists of one audiotape and 29 slides.
Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival Recordings
This collection consists of over 800 hours of analog and born digital audio captured at the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival beginning in 1972. The extent of the coverage varies by year with as little as one hour of audio to as many as 28 hours. There is no audio from 1975 or 2013.
Delbert W. Loudermilk Railroad Collection
This collection consists of color slides, photographs, negatives, and a videotape relating to railroading. Major subjects are East Tennessee and Western North Carolina Railroad, narrow and standard gauge (Johnson City and Elizabethton, Tenn.); Norfolk and Western Railroad (Bristol, Va., to West Jefferson, N. C.); Southern Pacific Railway (San Luis Obispo, Ca., and environs); and Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad (Cass and Ronceverte, W. Va.).

Lewis Deneumoustier Collection
The collection consists of bluegrass and country music memorabilia created or acquired by Lewis Deneumoustier over a period of several decades. Among the materials are serial publications, song and picture folios, fan club journals, sheet music, photographs, posters, trading cards, and flyers from concerts and festivals. In addition there are materials relating to Deneumoustier’s tenure as the editor of the Disc Collector newsletter.
