Alan Maggard donated the materials to the Birthplace of Country Music Museum (BCM) on 2015-06-05, BCM accession 2015.19. BCM did some preliminary work on the collection but, for reasons of preservation, decided with Maggard's approval to transfer the donation to the Archives of Appalachia. Physical transfer effected 2022-06-22. Any additional materials will come directly from Maggard Sound, Inc.
