Biography
Joyce Ann Ely Evans was born in Stone, Kentucky on December 14, 1947. She was the daughter of Lillian Eileen Spade and Thomas Jerome Ely. She married Daniel Garfield Hayes on March 5, 1966; they had one son, Danny Joe Hayes who died in a car accident in 1989. Evans' second husband was William Bill Keyes. She married her third husband, James Lawrence Evans, in 1987. During her life she lived in various places in Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee and Arkansas. Joyce Evans died of cancer in Johnson City, Tennessee on July 30, 2005.
