Biography
Nora Cooper Carter was born in Bristol, Tennessee on October 6, 1991. She student taught in Elizabethton in 1923 and earned a teaching certificate from East Tennessee State Normal School in 1924. She worked as a teacher for several years, then became a sales clerk at H.P. King Company in Bristol and remained there for 20 years. She married Floyd F. Frey in 1933. She died on April 17, 1991.
