Biography
Leland J. Lancaster was born September 21, 1935 in Greeneville, TN, and was the younger son of Eustis Lancaster, Jr. and Helen Addleburg Lancaster. He grew up mostly in Johnson City, Tennessee, where he graduated from Science Hill High School in 1953. For many years, he was an officer and later owner of Lancaster Associates, a company founded by his father in Johnson City. Lancaster died in Johnson City, Tennessee on December 13, 2009.
