Nicolson, Douglas G.

Douglas G. Nicolson received his B.S. in 1930, his M.S. in 1931, and his Ph.D. in 1934 from the University of Illinois. He came to East Tennessee State University in 1953 and served as an associate professor, professor, and chair of the chemistry department. He retired in 1974. During his lifetime, Nicolson was active in various types of community affairs. He died in Johnson City on April 15, 1987.

Arrangement The photographs are organized in one series and arranged chronologically by month and year of the prints. Undated prints have been placed at the end, together with composite prints which Nicolson assembled by cutting and taping individual prints.
