Biography
Robert Peplies is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He received his B.S. in Geography And Geology in 1956 from Northern Illinois College, his M.A. in 1959 from the University of Georgia, and his Ph.D. in 1968 from the University of Georgia. In 1959 Peplies joined the Department of Geography at East Tennessee State University.
