The Mike DuBose Photographs collection consists of 21 black and white prints of serpent-handling practices in religious services in the Appalachian region taken by DuBose between 1984 and 1985. Church locations include Baxter, Kentucky, Canton, North Carolina, Carson Springs, Tennessee, and Jolo, West Virginia.
