Biography

James T. Dugan was born on September 19, 1923 in Nashville, Tennessee. He served in the United States Navy from November 26, 1940 until November 6, 1946, when he was honorably discharged. While in the service, he was a Chief Photographer's Mate who photographed various missions in the Pacific region. He was a photographer for Project: Able-Baker at the Bikini Atoll in July 25, 1946. After his discharge, he engaged in various endeavors which highlighted his talent in art and photography. He was the third husband of Grace Stoneman.
