Biography
Scott Stoneman, born August 4, 1932, was the tenth surviving child of Ernest and Hattie Stoneman. He had one daughter, Sandra, by his first wife, Cecile Phipps. He had no children by his second and third wives, Paula Brogan and Ann (last name unknown). He and fourth wife, Mary Madison, had two children, Ernest Scott and Faith Kerin. He was an accomplished fiddle player. In addition to performing with Stoneman groups, he performed with the Kentucky Colonels. Scotty passed away March 4, 1973.
