Scope and Contents The Mary Louise Pearre Hamilton Papers consist of typescripts of her diary, 1863-64, and of letters written to her by her fiance, John Hall Hamilton, 1861-63. Their son, Joshua Pearre Hamilton, transcribed the diary and letters sometime in the early 20th century and added commentary to the diary entries. There is also a family history by J.P. Scope and Contents

The papers of LeRoy Reeves consist of letters, military orders, photographs, sketches, newspaper clippings and genealogical data. His experimental sketches of the Tennessee state flag and his correspondence relating to the adoption of the flag are of particular interest to Tennesseans and vexillologists. Other papers document some of his activities as a member of the United States military and the research he conducted for his book Ancestral Sketches.
