Arrangement

The records are divided into four series: Series 1, General Office Files; Series 2, Chairmen's Council Minutes; Series 3, Professional Load Reports; and Series 4, Graduate Assistant Files. In Series 1 the files for the 1972-1973 academic year are missing, and in Series 3 reports for 1971-1972 are missing.

Arrangement

The records are arranged into four series as follows: Series 1, Administrative Records, 1953-74; Series 2, Minutes and Related Records, 1975-97; Series 3, Subject Files, 1970-79; and Series 4, Recordings, 1977-93. Box numbering begins again with each series.

Scope and Contents The Edwin T. Greninger Collection documents personal and professional interests during his career as a professor of history at East Tennessee State University, including teaching assignments and administrative work within the department, university committees and the Faculty Senate, and in professional organizations such as the American Association of University Professors.
