Biography
The Student Activities Committee consisted of four professors, an alumni association representative appointed by the president, the dean of admissions and records, and four students.
The student activities committee primarily is responsible for determining fund eligibility of approved student organizations; reviewing proposals and recommending final budgets to the university president; reviewing proposals and recommending changes in organization and procedures intended to increase efficiency and equity in the review of proposals and the allocation of funds.
James W. Loyd served as chairman from the fall of 1962 through the 1976-1977 academic year (the duration of these records).
