Biography

The East Tennessee State University Staff Senate was created on August 21, 1978, by Dr. Arthur H. De Rosier, Jr., university president. The mission of the Staff Senate is to provide a channel of communication through which the non-faculty university staff can participate in the discussion of problems, situations, and opportunities relevant to the staff; to submit recommendations to the university president on matters relevant to the university staff; and to interact with students, the faculty, and the university administration on matters relevant to the entire university. The Staff Senate reports to the university's vice president for business and finance.
