This collection consists of color slides, photographs, negatives, and a videotape relating to railroading. Major subjects are East Tennessee and Western North Carolina Railroad, narrow and standard gauge (Johnson City and Elizabethton, Tenn.); Norfolk and Western Railroad (Bristol, Va., to West Jefferson, N. C.); Southern Pacific Railway (San Luis Obispo, Ca., and environs); and Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad (Cass and Ronceverte, W. Va.).

Kenneth Riddle Collection of Cy Crumley Photographs
The collection consists of images scanned from photographs that belonged to former East Tennessee and Western North Carolina Railroad conductor Cy Crumley. There are also printouts from the website "The Cy Crumley Scrapbook” created by Ken Riddle. The images were also used in the book Cy Crumley's Tweetsie: Ninety Years on the Narrow Gauge, compiled by Kenneth Riddle.
Susan H. Henry Collection of ET&WNC Railroad and ET&WNC Transportation Company Memorabilia
The collection consists of material pertaining to the early years of the ET&WNC Railroad and to the last years of the ET&WNC Transportation Company. ET&WNC Railroad material includes correspondence and other historical documents as well as articles about the railroad, photographs and postcards. The ET&WNC Transportation Company material includes marketing material, employee photographs, the Red Ball Motor Freight Offer to Purchase and a financial statement.

The collection is arranged in the following series: Series 1, Maps, 1863-1988; Series 2, Printed Materials and Memorabilia, 1860-1958; Series 3, Legal and Financial Papers, 1783-1965; and Series 4, Photographs and Postcards, 1903-1980s.
William Henley Nelson Family Papers
The collection is divided into four series: Series 1, Military and Political Records, 1866-1934; Series 2, Personal and Family Correspondence, 1861-1973; Series 3, Newsclippings and Memorabilia, 1875-1910; and Series 4, Family Photographs, c. 1862-1973.
The materials in the addition were added to Series 2, Series 3, and Series 4, while Series 5 was created for the Elinor Farina Papers.
