Elizabeth DeVault Poteat Papers

 Collection — Box: 1-2
Identifier: Acc-852
The Poteat Papers consist primarily of correspondence and photographs. Much of the correspondence is between Adelaide Gresham DeVault and William Weldon DeVault, especially during the time when he was hospitalized in various sanitariums between 1908 and 1910. There are also a number of letters home from Robert DeVault during World War II. There is a smaller number of letters between Elizabeth DeVault and Edward Burke.

The photographs are mostly unidentified. There are some color snapshots which seem to be from the honeymoon of Elizabeth and Joseph Kelly Poteat as well as a notebook that documents where they stayed and where they ate.
