Cynthia A. Cornwell Tapes

The eight audio cassettes which make up the collection contain nine interviews of individuals who had knowledge of either Milligan College or persons instrumental in Milligan's development as a Christian, liberal arts school. Cornwell conducted seven of the interviews, while Oris Hyder conducted the remaining two interviews. These interviews, along with six additional interviews were conducted by Cornwell as part of her thesis research on the history of Milligan College. (The thesis, "Beside the Water of the Buffalo: A History of Milligan College to 1917," was completed in 1988 at Emmanuel School of Religion, Johnson City, Tennessee.)

Arrangement

The interviews are arranged chronologically. All tapes are 90-minutes in length. Tapes are stored according to accession number in the audio visual storage area.
