Arrangement

The photocopied documents are arranged in a single file folder. The transcript of the bankruptcy trial is placed at the end of the folder following the wills and deeds.

Method of Acquisition

Hal Smith of Sherrod Library, East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee, apparently sent these documents to be photocopied on April 15, 1970. The owner/lender of the documents is unknown. The photocopied papers were transferred to the Archives of Appalachia on May 22, 1979
