The Pike Hardwood Lumber Company Records consist of one ledger containing a company constitution and by-laws, meeting minutes, lists of stock holders and members of the board of directors, and miscellaneous expense accounts. The constitution and by-laws identify the general purpose for the company's creation. The lists include such information as the names of the company stock holders, their residences, and the amount of stock that was purchased by each individual. The meeting minutes document the early operation of the company. The expense accounts describe E. R. Miller's household expenses for December 1911.
