The Uptegrove Family Collection consists of one file folder containing information relating to the Uptegrove family and the Uptegrove Lumber Company. Included are recollections of William E. and Gifford M. Uptegrove, a reproduction of the fall 1999 issue of the Blue Ridge Steamwinder related to the Uptegrove business operations, the original text to American Lumberman (May 23, 1903), articles from the New York Times, a map of the rail service of the East Tennessee and Western North Carolina Railroad and the Johnson City, Bakersville and Southern Railway, and a Uptegrove Lumber Company timeline.
